Local sports historian Greg Peterson is set to host an event celebrating the best baseball moments in Jamestown, with a special tribute to Scotty James, the beloved clubhouse manager of the Jamestown Tarp Skunks. The event, titled “Greg Peterson Unplugged Part 2,” will feature Peterson sharing stories alongside Mike Billoni, former general manager of the Buffalo Bisons and Jamestown Jammers.
The event, scheduled for April 23 at the Robert H. Jackson Center, will include videos of interviews conducted by Peterson over the years, with Billoni as the master of ceremonies. Christian Dolce, the Tarp Skunks’ general manager, will also be in attendance.
Peterson expressed his excitement for the event, highlighting the special tribute to Scotty James for his dedication to Jamestown baseball. Scotty, who has been a fixture in the local baseball community, will be the star of the evening as he continues to recover from recent health setbacks.
