Exciting News for Passengers! Vande Metro Set to Launch with Panoramic Windows, Enhanced Lavatories; Explore Route and Amenities

The much-anticipated Vande Metro train is set to debut soon, offering a new and exciting mode of transportation for passengers. The Perambur Integral Coach Factory (ICF) officials have confirmed that the services of the Vande Metro will commence in July, with the initial journey planned from Chennai to Tirupati.

The Vande Metro train is a significant development by Indian Railways, known for its extensive rail network and millions of daily passengers. The train will feature panoramic windows and upgraded lavatories, providing a comfortable and modern travel experience for passengers.

With 12 coaches, the Vande Metro combines elements of the AC Mainline Electrical Multiple Unit (MEMU) and the Vande Bharat Express. It will operate at speeds ranging from 110 to 130 kilometers per hour, ensuring efficient and timely travel between destinations.

The train will have air-conditioned compartments with automatic sliding doors for convenience, as well as connecting corridors for easy movement between compartments. Each compartment can accommodate 100 passengers comfortably, with space for an additional 200 standing passengers.

Key amenities of the Vande Metro include panoramic windows, mobile charging points, route indicator displays, CCTV cameras, emergency talkback units, and upgraded lavatories. The train will also be equipped with the KAVACH anti-collision system for enhanced safety.
