Exciting Release News: ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone Set to Hit Theaters in June

The highly anticipated sci-fi film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, has announced a new release date. Originally scheduled for May 2024, the film will now hit the theatres on June 27, 2024.

Amitabh Bachchan took to Instagram to share the exciting news, stating, “All the forces come together for a better tomorrow on 27-06-2024.” Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is set to be a mythology-inspired sci-fi extravaganza set in the future.

The teaser of Amitabh Bachchan’s look from the film was unveiled during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). In the teaser, Big B is seen in warm earthy tones, seated in a cave engaged in prayer to a Shiva linga. A young kid questions his character, to which he responds, “Dwapar yug se Dash avatar ki pratiksha kar raha hoon main, Dronacharya ka putra Ashwatthama.”

Apart from the stellar cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, the film also features Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ to witness this star-studded and visually stunning sci-fi spectacle.
