The Annual Tim Orth Foundation All Jamboree Basketball Games brought together seniors from the Tomahawk Conference and the Red Rock Conference at Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop High School on Friday. The event aimed to raise money for the Tim Orth Foundation, which supports individuals with major medical expenses. This year, the recipient was Derrick Olson, who was involved in a car accident resulting in a fractured femur and broken wrist.

In the girls game, the Red Rock team dominated, finishing the first quarter with an 11-0 run. Despite the efforts of players like Jenna Hotovec and Brea Mertz, the Tomahawk team couldn’t catch up, with the Red Rock team ultimately winning 69-59.

During halftime, the FM Acro Team from Fargo, North Dakota wowed the crowd with an aerial gymnastics routine. The boys game saw a strong start from the Tomahawk team, led by players like Ben Pearson and Joe Liebl. The Red Rock team fought back, but the Tomahawk team maintained their lead, ultimately winning 87-73.

The highlight of the event was the Utah Jazz Dunk Team’s performance between the girls and boys games, showcasing impressive athletic dunks. The mascots from the Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz also entertained the crowd with their antics during the games. Overall, the event was a success in raising funds for a worthy cause and providing an exciting evening of basketball entertainment.
