Exclusive: Geetika Mehandru Exposes the True Motive Behind Her Private Nuptials with Mohit Verma

Geetika Mehandru, the popular actress known for her roles in TV shows like Choti Sarrdaarni and Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki, recently surprised everyone by tying the knot with Mohit Verma in a secret wedding ceremony in Chandigarh on April 18, 2024. The actress opened up about her relationship with Mohit and the reason behind their intimate wedding in an exclusive interview with Times Now/Telly Talk India.

Geetika shared that she met Mohit through a friend and they connected over discussions about marriage. She mentioned that her parents were looking for a suitable match for her, preferably someone from Canada, where her brother resides. Mohit expressed his interest in her and they decided to go for coffee. Geetika revealed that Mohit is involved in the trading and property investment business.

When asked about the reason behind their low-key wedding, Geetika explained, “I just wanted to enjoy it the way my parents wanted. I didn’t want to make it very fancy, although my parents did their best to make it special. I just wanted to have a good time with family and friends who aren’t in the industry.” She also mentioned her plans to throw a party for her friends and co-actors in Mumbai.
