Extension Request for FRH and Casino Judgment under Dutch Financial Supervision Act

The Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal has granted an additional thirty-day extension to France Retail Holdings S.à r.l. (FRH) and Casino Guichard-Perrachon S.A. under the Dutch Financial Supervision Act. This decision comes after a request made by FRH and Casino, ultimately controlled by Mr. Daniel Křetínský, to extend the time period provided in the Act.

The extension, pursuant to Article 5:72(2) of the Dutch Financial Supervision Act, will now see the period provided in Article 5:72(1) FMSA extended by thirty days starting from May 27, 2024. This judgment follows previous press releases on April 29, 2024, and May 7, 2024, regarding the matter.
