Falvey Insurance Group to Host Fundraiser for Animal Welfare

Falvey Insurance Group is set to make a positive impact on animal welfare through a charity golf tournament scheduled for September. The event, named ‘Fore the Pets’, will be held at the Richmond Country Club in Rhode Island on September 9. The tournament aims to raise crucial funds for the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RISPCA), the oldest non-profit animal welfare organization in the state and the third oldest in the country.

Established in 1870, the RISPCA provides essential services such as adoption, rehoming, veterinary care, humane education, and training support. It is also the only organization in Rhode Island authorized to investigate and prosecute cases of animal cruelty and neglect.

Jack Falvey, the chief operating officer of Falvey Insurance Group, expressed pride in supporting the RISPCA’s ongoing efforts to protect and care for animals in need. He emphasized the importance of community involvement in making a significant impact on animal welfare across Rhode Island.

Stephanie Van Patten, the RISPCA community engagement director, expressed gratitude for being chosen as the beneficiary of the tournament’s proceeds. She highlighted the support and volunteerism provided by Falvey employees to the RISPCA and the animals they serve.
