Famous Hollywood actor safely lands private jet in Sydney

Hollywood’s highest paid actor, Mark Wahlberg, has been making headlines once again as he was spotted flying into Australia on his private jet. The 52-year-old actor was photographed touching down at Sydney airport over the weekend, where he greeted fans outside the terminal and posed for selfies.

Wahlberg, who was named Hollywood’s highest paid actor in 2017, has been traveling back and forth between the US and Australia for his latest project, the crime film “Play Dirty.” The movie is currently filming at locations across New South Wales and co-stars LaKeith Stanfield, Rosa Salazar, and Dermot Mulroney.

Reports have revealed that Wahlberg has set up temporary residence at a $100 million waterfront mansion in Sydney’s Point Piper, known as Australia’s richest postcode. However, his arrival in Australia comes amidst legal troubles as he is being sued by British football legend David Beckham over a fitness brand deal gone wrong.

Beckham’s firm, DB Ventures Ltd, claimed that Wahlberg “duped” him into working with F45, a gym group that Wahlberg has investments in. Beckham alleges that he lost over $16.4 million when promised stocks were withheld until after share prices plummeted.

Wahlberg and his co-defendants have denied the allegations of fraudulent conduct and have asked a judge to dismiss the lawsuit. Despite the legal battle, Wahlberg continues to focus on his film projects and investments, including his stake in F45 which was founded in Sydney in 2012 and has since expanded globally.
