Fantasia presents Ant Timpson’s ‘Bookworm’

Fantasia International Film Festival has just unveiled their second wave of exciting genre titles, building up anticipation for their upcoming 28th edition. The festival will kick off with the World Premiere of “Bookworm,” directed by Ant Timpson and starring Elijah Wood. This whimsical tale promises to set the tone for a thrilling festival experience.

Among the newly announced titles are “Wake Up” from RKSS, known for “Turbo Kid,” as well as “Kryptic,” “Oddity,” and “Azrael.” These films are sure to captivate audiences with their unique storytelling and visual flair.

The festival, running from July 18 to August 4, will feature screenings, workshops, and launch events at various venues in Montreal. The full lineup will be revealed on July 3, but the second wave of premieres has already generated excitement among fans.
