The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts (ASMSA) is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Director of Finance, with a start date no later than July 1, 2024. ASMSA, a public residential high school located in historic downtown Hot Springs, is known for providing exceptional opportunities for talented and motivated students from across Arkansas.

The Director of Finance will oversee all fiscal processes for the institution, including accounts payable, purchasing, budgeting, financial reporting, and audits. Additionally, the director will serve as the campus administrator for maintenance and janitorial departments, ensuring smooth campus operations and planning for future projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field, at least five years of experience in finance, and two years in a supervisory role. Experience with Workday, higher education finance, and CPA certification are preferred.

ASMSA is looking for a candidate with strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyze financial information and coordinate multiple projects and deadlines. The successful candidate will play a critical role in working with campus stakeholders on financial matters and strategic planning.
