The MICHELIN Guide has announced its very first Key hotels in the United States, recognizing the most outstanding hotels in the country. Out of 124 hotels that received at least one Key, nearly fifty percent are located in California, with almost half in the Los Angeles area.

The hotels in Downtown L.A. and Hollywood, such as Soho Warehouse DTLA, Downtown L.A. Proper, the Aster, and the Prospect, offer unique and luxurious experiences. These hotels boast rooftop lounges, pools, gardens, restaurants, bars, and Bohemian designs by renowned designers like Kelly Wearstler.

In West Hollywood, iconic hotels like the Chateau Marmont, Sunset Tower Hotel, and Pendry West Hollywood provide a glimpse into the city’s rich history and vibrant nightlife. Each hotel offers a unique blend of style, luxury, and comfort, making them popular choices for travelers seeking a taste of Hollywood glamour.

Further, in neighborhoods like Beverly Hills, Silver Lake, and Bel-Air, hotels like L’Ermitage, The Maybourne, The Peninsula, and The Beverly Hills Hotel offer opulent accommodations with a touch of Old Hollywood charm.

In Santa Monica, beachfront hotels like Casa del Mar and Shutters on the Beach provide guests with a luxurious seaside experience. The Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows and Santa Monica Proper offer a blend of modern amenities and beachfront relaxation, making them ideal choices for travelers looking to unwind by the ocean.

Overall, the MICHELIN Guide’s selection of Key hotels in the United States showcases the diversity and luxury of accommodations available in Los Angeles and its surrounding areas. Each hotel offers a unique experience, combining style, comfort, and exceptional service to cater to the needs of discerning travelers.
