Interaction, a Bath-based workplace design and build company, has been awarded the prestigious Fit Out of the Year Award for their exceptional work on Osborne Clarke’s state-of-the-art office in Bristol. The award was presented at the British Council for Offices’ South of England and South Wales Awards Dinner, where Interaction’s top-quality design work was recognized for creating a five-floor flexible workplace in the landmark Halo building.

The office design focused on wellbeing, inclusivity, and sustainability, with features such as indoor gardens, flexible workspaces, yoga and spin studios, and a rooftop terrace restaurant offering stunning views of Bristol. The Halo fit-out was designed with strict sustainability criteria in mind, aiming for WELL Building and BREEAM certifications. Sustainable materials, including reclaimed clothing materials and recycled plastics, were used throughout the workspace.

Dieter Wood, Interaction’s managing director, expressed pride in the recognition of their work on the Halo office project, emphasizing the company’s commitment to workplace wellbeing and sustainability. Lara Burch, head of Osborne Clarke’s Bristol office, commended Interaction for understanding their brief and delivering a standout workspace that prioritizes wellbeing, agile working, and sustainability.

The BCO awards are considered the benchmark for excellence in workplaces, and Interaction’s success in winning the Fit Out of the Year Award highlights their dedication to creating innovative and sustainable work environments. The collaboration between Interaction and Osborne Clarke has resulted in a cutting-edge office space that sets a new standard for workplace design in Bristol.
