Flyers Gymnasts Shine at Elmira Spring Fling Competition
The Flyers competitive gymnasts showcased their talent and skills at the recent Elmira Spring Fling competition, bringing home impressive results. The Level 5 team secured a first-place team banner, while the Level 4 team earned a respectable third place.
Kamille Garza led the Level 5 team with outstanding performances, clinching first place on bars and beam, as well as second place on floor exercises. Garza’s exceptional scores earned her the top spot in the all-around category. Lilli Neubauer also delivered a stellar performance, taking first place on vault and floor, and securing second place in the all-around category.
In the Xcel Diamond division, Elayna Pitts stood out with a second-place finish in the all-around category. At Xcel Platinum, Madelyn Widen and Kennedy Lynn impressed with their performances on bars and beam, respectively. In the Xcel Gold category, Cassidy DuBois emerged as the top performer, claiming first place in the all-around competition.
The Level 4 team also had standout performers, with Claire Thompson earning third place on beam and Avery Armella showcasing her skills on bars and floor exercises.
