Flyers Xcel Platinum Team Secures First Place at JCC Competition | Latest News, Sports Updates, Employment Opportunities

The Flyers competitive gymnasts showcased their talent and skill at The Lucky Stars Invitational at Jamestown Community College, bringing home multiple team banners and individual accolades.

The Xcel Platinum team stole the show by capturing a first-place team banner, with standout performances from Mia Volpe, Madelyn Widen, and Kennedy Lynn. Volpe led her team with impressive scores on vault, bars, and all-around, while Widen and Lynn also secured first-place finishes in their respective events.

Not to be outdone, the Xcel Gold and Level 5 teams also put on a strong showing, with Morgan Robbins leading the Xcel Gold team with a first-place finish on vault and a third-place finish in all-around. Level 5 gymnast Kamille Garza shined on bars, earning a first-place finish for her team.

Individual gymnasts from various levels also excelled, with Sloane Siggins, Claire Thompson, and Kamille Garza all capturing first-place finishes in their respective events.
