In a groundbreaking move, Shearwater has secured exclusive and perpetual rights to utilize and enhance Mondaic’s wavefield simulation and inversion codes for subsurface applications. Additionally, Shearwater has also acquired an equity stake in Mondaic, solidifying their commitment to advancing seismic data processing technology.

Full waveform inversion, a crucial technology in the seismic processing value chain, is set to transform the visualization of subsurface structures, improve reservoir understanding, and streamline survey planning and execution.
