Former Canuck Ryan Kesler returns to Vancouver for Game 2 against Nashville – BC

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Vancouver Canucks have enlisted the help of former player Ryan Kesler as they prepare to take on the Nashville Predators in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Kesler, a key member of the Canucks team that made it to the 2011 Stanley Cup Final, is considered a lucky charm for the team.

Known for his gritty play and scoring prowess, Kesler was instrumental in helping the Canucks defeat the Predators during their 2011 playoff run. His performance earned him the nickname “Beast Mode” as he tallied five goals and 11 points in just six games against Nashville.

Returning to Vancouver with his son Ryker, Kesler expressed his excitement to be back in the city and to witness the playoff buzz once again. He shared his fond memories of playing in front of the passionate Canucks fans and how special it is to be a part of the playoff atmosphere.

As the Canucks face off against the Predators in Game 2, they will be looking to channel some of that Beast Mode magic to secure another victory. The team received a setback earlier in the day with the news that starting goaltender Thatcher Demko is sidelined with an undisclosed injury, but they remain optimistic as they hold a 1-0 series lead.

With Kesler’s presence and the support of the home crowd, the Canucks are hoping to continue their winning ways and advance further in the playoffs. Stay tuned for an exciting matchup between these two competitive teams.
