Former Central Mountain Athlete Excels in Collegiate Softball

Former Central Mountain High School athlete, Madison Briggs, has found success on the collegiate softball field at Wilson College. Despite not being recruited to play softball at Wilson initially, Briggs has made a significant impact on the team in her sophomore season.

Briggs, who transitioned to soccer in her senior year of high school, has proven herself as a valuable player for the Wilson Phoenix softball team. With a batting average of .346, 27 hits, 10 runs, 17 RBIs, and 4 doubles, Briggs has shown remarkable improvement since her first season.

After a successful regular season, Wilson College holds the No. 1 seed in the conference and is poised for a strong postseason run. Briggs’ contributions on the field have been instrumental in the team’s success, showcasing her talent and dedication to the sport.
