Former Indian Cricketer Supports Player Who Commits Fewer Errors in RCB vs CSK Match, Not Virat Kohli

Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif has thrown his support behind the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of their crucial IPL 2024 clash against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday. With a spot in the playoffs at stake, Kaif believes that CSK are the team to back in high-pressure situations.

Kaif highlighted CSK’s ability to perform well in do-or-die matches, pointing to their victory in the IPL final last year where they emerged victorious against the Gujarat Titans. He emphasized the presence of former captain MS Dhoni as a key factor that could boost CSK’s chances in the upcoming match.

“Dhoni’s formula in crunch games is – don’t panic, take a breath and only he has this art in crunch matches. He makes very few mistakes, and that’s why they are a champion team,” Kaif said on Star Sports.

CSK have a strong track record against RCB, having won 22 out of their 33 matches historically. The defending champions also secured a victory against RCB in the reverse fixture earlier in the IPL 2024 season.

With Dhoni’s experience and leadership, Kaif believes that CSK are the favorites to come out on top in the crucial league match against RCB. The match is set to be a thrilling encounter as both teams battle it out for a spot in the playoffs.
