Forte Construction finishes remodeling project at their new headquarters in Islandia

Forte Construction Corp. has unveiled its newly renovated headquarters in Islandia, marking a significant milestone for the general contracting firm and its subsidiaries TAP Electric and BR Construction. The three-story, 30,000-square-foot office building on 2.08 acres at 1770 Motor Parkway now serves as the company’s new home after operating out of a smaller space in Holbrook for the past 45 years.

The $5.175 million property purchase in July 2021 paved the way for extensive upgrades, including a complete overhaul of the first two floors, structural modifications, and exterior enhancements. The first floor boasts a new reception area and five offices, while the second floor features 15 offices equipped with standing desks and ergonomic chairs.

Project manager Ryan Scheubel led a team of 10 subcontractors in executing the interior renovations, which included state-of-the-art conference rooms, multiple kitchenettes, and environmentally friendly bathroom fixtures. The building’s columns now feature precast panels, and the windows have been enhanced with an aluminum storefront design.

Forte Construction Vice President Jeffery Cardillo expressed pride in the company’s new facility, emphasizing the importance of creating a space that reflects their commitment to excellence. The firm plans to occupy the first two floors of the Islandia building while retaining ownership of the Holbrook facility for warehousing and future expansion.

With a portfolio that includes collaborations with government agencies like the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the New York City Housing Authority, Forte Construction and its subsidiaries are poised for continued success in serving clients across the New York metropolitan area.
