TCU Tennis Players Qualify for NCAA Individual Championships

FORT WORTH – TCU men’s tennis team has secured four spots in the upcoming NCAA Individual Championships, showcasing their talent and skill on the court. Jake Fearnley, Jack Pinnington, Pedro Vives, and Sebastian Gorzny have all earned their spots in the prestigious tournament.

The NCAA Individual Championships are set to take place from May 20-25 at the Greenwood Tennis Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma, following the team championship. The selections were made by the NCAA D1 Men’s Tennis Subcommittee, recognizing the top players in collegiate tennis.

Gorzny and Vives, the highest-ranked pair in the Big 12, automatically qualified for the doubles championships. Fearnley, a four-time All-American, is seeded eighth in singles, while Pinnington will be seeded 9-16. This will be Fearnley’s second time competing in the singles championships, showcasing his consistency and talent on the court.

Fearnley, Gorzny, Vives, and Pinnington have all had impressive seasons, with notable victories and strong performances throughout the year. Their success has been instrumental in TCU’s overall performance, leading the team to the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
