Four Health Centers Stop Offering Medical Fitness Tests for UAE Residency Visas

Reading Time: < 1 minute

In a recent announcement, authorities in the UAE have revealed significant changes to the provision of medical fitness tests for residence visa applications. Effective June 3, several public health centers will no longer offer this service, leading to adjustments for visa applicants across the country.

Emirates Health Services (EHS) confirmed the decision to discontinue medical fitness tests at specific health centers, including those in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah. As undergoing a medical fitness test is a mandatory requirement for residency visa applications, this change necessitates a shift in the application process for affected individuals.

To address this transition, alternative centers have been designated in each emirate to facilitate the required medical examinations. In Ajman, applicants can visit the Mushairef Residence Medical Examination Centre or the Al Nuaimiya Residence Medical Examination Centre. Similarly, in Ras Al Khaimah, alternatives include the Dahan Residence Medical Examination Centre and the RAKZ Residence Medical Examination Centre.

The restructuring of medical fitness test services aims to ensure the continuity and accessibility of essential services for residency visa applicants in the UAE. By redirecting these tests to designated centers, authorities seek to minimize disruptions and streamline the application process while upholding high standards of healthcare delivery and administrative efficiency.

For individuals impacted by these changes, understanding the revised procedures and available alternatives is crucial for a smooth application process. Staying informed about any updates from relevant authorities can help applicants adapt effectively to evolving requirements.

Overall, the proactive measures taken by authorities to designate alternative centers for medical fitness tests demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the visa application process while prioritizing public health and well-being in the UAE.
