Frank Vogel Opens Up About Suns Sweeping in Playoffs

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Phoenix Suns’ season ended in disappointment as they were swept out of the playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Head coach Frank Vogel expressed his feelings about the loss, stating, “There’s no worse professional feeling in the world than getting swept in the NBA playoffs. I’ve never been a part of it. I feel pretty low right now.”

Vogel, in his first season as coach of the Suns, led the team to a 49-33 record, securing the sixth spot in the Western Conference. Despite improving the team’s defense, there were still unresolved issues that came to light during the playoffs. The Suns were unable to find answers for Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves, leading to their early exit.

The Suns had high expectations after adding Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and other key players to their roster. They were seen as contenders for the Finals, but failing to advance past the first round was a major disappointment. Now, the team must reflect on their performance and make adjustments for the upcoming season.

Will this loss be a turning point for the Suns, or will they face further challenges in the future? As they look ahead to the next season, the team will need to regroup and strategize on how to bounce back from this defeat.
