In the latest update of Genshin Impact, version 4.6, players will have the opportunity to unlock the new character Gorou by completing the main event. The HoYo team has announced that Arlecchino and Lyney will have an increased drop rate for three weeks, along with the addition of new weapons and four-star reruns on limited-time banners.
Version 4.6 of Genshin Impact is set to be released soon, promising more content than the previous update. The update will be divided into two parts, each featuring different rosters of characters. Based on calculations, the 4.6 version of Genshin Impact is expected to conclude in June 2024.
Players can look forward to the “Iridescent Arataki Rockin for Life Tour de Force of Awesomeness” event in version 4.6, where they can complete challenges to unlock Gorou and earn Primogem rewards. This time-limited event will run from May 5 to 27 and will offer players the chance to collect Iridescence Tour Tickets to unlock Gorou, Nightwind Horn, Talent Materials, Crown of Insight, and other rewards.
Gorou, a four-star Geo unit in Genshin Impact, is a valuable addition to Geo-based teams, providing AoE damage and support abilities. With higher constellations, Gorou can boost his allies’ defense and increase the survivability of the party, making him a viable choice for teams featuring characters like Arataki Itto, Albedo, or Zhongli.
In addition to Gorou, version 4.6 will also feature rerun banners for characters like Freminet, Lynette, and Xiangling, as well as the introduction of new five-star units Arlecchino and Lyney with unique skills. Players can expect a wealth of new content and challenges in the upcoming update of Genshin Impact.
