World No 2 Aryna Sabalenka showcased her dominance at the French Open as she defeated Japanese qualifier Moyuka Uchijima in straight sets to advance to the third round. Uchijima, playing in her first Grand Slam second round, struggled to handle Sabalenka’s powerful serve and groundstrokes, ultimately falling 6-2 6-2 to the second seed.

Sabalenka wasted no time asserting her authority in the match, winning six consecutive points at the start.
