Garylee competes in zizzer district track championships

The West Plains Zizzer boys and Marshfield girls dominated the Class 4 District 6 track and field championships held in Nixa over the weekend. The Zizzers racked up an impressive 162 points, leaving the runner-up Bolivar trailing with 117 points. Carson King of West Plains won the 800-meter race by a mere three-hundredths of a second, clocking in at 1:59.23. The Zizzers secured six first-place finishes, with standout performances from Jackson Free in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters, Lincoln Miller in the 200 meters, and the relay teams in the 4×100 and 4×200 events.
