Garylee is participating in an upcoming golf tournament.

The STL Cardinals and Padres faced off in game two of a three-game series last night, with the Cardinals coming out on top. The Cardinals took the win with a final score of 7-4, extending their winning streak to 8-0 for the season.

The game was a close one, with the Cardinals taking the lead in the bottom of the third inning thanks to singles by Tank Sims and Riley Summers. Pitcher Ethan Tuma put on a stellar performance, earning the win for the Zizzers by striking out seven batters and only allowing four hits and three runs over six innings. Hunter Williams came in to secure the save for the team.

Summers and Nelson Hoover were standout players for the Zizzers, each collecting two hits in the game. Summers and Hunter Roberts also made significant contributions, each driving in two runs to help secure the victory.

In other sports news, the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association announced their 2024 Hall of Fame class, which includes notable figures such as Jimbo Blackwell, Kris Flood, and Morris Jenkins. The induction ceremony will take place at the Doubletree Hotel in Springfield on April 27th.

Additionally, the 11th annual Zizzer Golf Tournament is set to take place this Saturday at the West Plains Country Club. The tournament will feature a three-person 18-hole scramble, with sign-in starting at 10am and a tee time of 11am. Teams can sign up by calling the West Plains Country Club.
