Columbia Central High School senior Arianna Gaskill is making waves both on the tennis court and in the skies above Jackson. With a record of 9-1 as the No. 1 singles player for the Golden Eagles, Gaskill is proving that discipline and focus are key to success.

Having moved to Brooklyn less than a year ago, Gaskill has quickly made a name for herself in the tennis world, only suffering one loss this season. She credits her strong serve as a key component of her game, along with her ability to adapt to different opponents.

But tennis isn’t the only thing on Gaskill’s plate – she is also on the brink of obtaining her pilot’s license. With a family background in aviation, Gaskill has always been drawn to flying and recently took her first solo flight as a pilot.

Despite her busy schedule, Gaskill maintains a 3.9 grade point average and plans to attend Metropolitan State University in Denver to pursue her dream of becoming a commercial pilot. She values the friendships she has made through sports, describing her teammates as a “family” both on and off the court.

As Gaskill prepares for the regional tournament, she remains focused on her goals and is determined to succeed both in tennis and in the skies. With her drive and determination, there’s no doubt that Gaskill will continue to soar to new heights in the future.
