Gautam Gambhir Fires Back at Wasim Akram’s ‘Girgit’ Remark: Experts Weigh In

In the recently concluded IPL 2024 season, Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc had a rollercoaster journey with the Kolkata Knight Riders. Gambhir emphasized that it is the job of experts to critique players based on their performances. He stressed the importance of not letting external opinions affect a player’s mindset, and instead focusing on the support and feedback from teammates.

“It is the job of the experts and there is nothing to feel bad about. What the people say in your dressing room think about you is important,” Gambhir stated during the interview. He further added that players should not be swayed by external criticism, as it is a part of the game.
