HoYoverse, the maker of the popular game Genshin Impact, has finally announced the release date for its highly anticipated action-RPG, Zenless Zone Zero. Gamers can mark their calendars for July 4, 2024, when the game will launch on PlayStation 5, PC, Android, and iOS simultaneously. What sets Zenless Zone Zero apart from other games in the genre is its unique ‘urban fantasy’ setting, taking place in a post-apocalyptic world plagued by supernatural disasters known as Hollows.
The game is already generating buzz as it nears its pre-registration goal of 40 million, which will unlock special rewards for players upon launch. One of the rewards includes 12 Master Tapes, which can be used to obtain rare characters in the game. Additionally, HoYoverse has confirmed that cross-play and cross-progression will be enabled from the start, allowing players to seamlessly switch between platforms and play with friends.
In Zenless Zone Zero, players will explore the last remaining city in the world, New Eridu, as they navigate through the dangerous Hollows and uncover their mysteries. As the game gears up for its official release, fans can still pre-register on all platforms to secure their rewards and get a head start on the action.
With the final closed beta recently concluding, anticipation is building for the game’s launch. Gamers can expect more updates and possibly new information during an upcoming PlayStation showcase. Zenless Zone Zero promises to deliver an immersive gaming experience when it hits shelves on July 4.
