Get a Quick and Effective 15-Minute HIIT Ab Workout

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Are you tired of spending hours at the gym trying to get those perfect abs? Well, we have good news for you! A 15-minute HIIT ab workout is all you need to feel the burn and see results. This quick and effective workout is designed to target your core muscles and help you achieve your fitness goals in no time.

According to Ben Lauder-Dykes, a certified personal trainer and Fhitting Room instructor, focusing on time over reps is key to improving your form and getting the most out of your workout. By prioritizing quality over quantity, you can challenge and train your core muscles without overworking other muscle groups.

If you’re up for the challenge, join our June 2024 Movement of the Month Club and follow along with our daily ab exercises. Then, on Sundays, you can do the full 15-minute workout, consisting of 30 seconds of each exercise with 15 seconds of rest in between. Repeat each exercise three times before moving on to the next one.

Here’s a breakdown of the 15-minute HIIT ab workout:

1. Straight-leg sit-up: This exercise targets your core muscles while improving flexibility in your hips and lower back. You can increase the difficulty by straightening both legs or adding weight for an extra challenge.

2. Forearm plank: A foundational ab exercise that challenges your core stability and strength, leading to better balance in your daily activities.

3. Dead bug: This move may require some coordination, but it’s great for improving core stability, hip mobility, and overall athletic performance.

4. Figure 4 leg lift: Strengthen those hard-to-target lower abs with this exercise that focuses on deep core muscles.

5. Side plank: Build core stability and target your obliques with this plank variation that also improves upper body mobility.

6. Tuck up: Enhance your core strength and dynamic power with this exercise that engages your entire core.

Each exercise is designed to work different parts of your core, ensuring a well-rounded and effective workout. With just 15 minutes a day, you can sculpt and strengthen your abs without spending hours in the gym.

So, if you’re ready to take your core workout to the next level, give this 15-minute HIIT ab workout a try. You’ll be amazed at how much you can achieve in a short amount of time. Say goodbye to long, boring gym sessions and hello to quick, effective core work that gets results.
