The Gladstone Braves baseball team had a stellar day on Monday, securing two impressive victories over Menominee with scores of 13-5 and 11-10. The action-packed games were filled with big hits and exciting plays that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

In the first game, Braves junior Casey Alworden set the tone with a lead-off single in the top of the first inning. Nate Young followed with a walk, setting the stage for Gavin Frossard to hit a ground ball and score a run, giving the Braves an early 1-0 lead. The Maroons fought back, tying the game in the bottom of the first, but the Braves regained the lead with a sacrifice fly from Frossard in the third inning.

The back-and-forth battle continued as the Maroons took a 4-2 lead in the second inning, only to be answered by the Braves in the fourth inning with key hits from John Soderman and Frossard. The Braves eventually pulled away, adding eight more runs in the final two innings to secure the win.

Pitchers Austin Pepin and Frossard delivered solid performances on the mound, helping the Braves dominate both games. Pepin and Alworden led the offensive charge in game two, contributing two hits each to help build a 6-0 lead early on.

Overall, it was a thrilling day for the Gladstone Braves, showcasing their talent and determination on the baseball diamond. Fans can look forward to more exciting games as the Braves continue their successful season.
