Gladstone softball dominates Menominee with back-to-back wins | Latest News, Sports, and Job Updates

The Gladstone Braves softball team had a remarkable comeback on Tuesday as they swept a doubleheader against Menominee with scores of 21-5 and 10-0.

In the first game, Gladstone came out swinging, scoring nine runs in the first inning alone. The Braves continued to dominate, with key hits from players like Rylee Gerow and B Pendergraft. Montgomery Pepin and Gerow also shined on the defensive end, with Pepin pitching two perfect innings and Gerow contributing both at the plate and on the mound.

The second game saw Gladstone maintain their momentum, scoring three runs in the first inning and adding on more runs in the following innings. Reese Herioux and Lauren Sundquist were standout performers, with Herioux going 4-for-4 with three RBI and Sundquist finishing 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Pitcher Montgomery Pepin sealed the deal in the second game, throwing a five-inning no-hitter while striking out eight batters.

Overall, it was a dominant performance by the Braves, showcasing their offensive firepower and strong pitching. The wins were a much-needed bounce back after a tough weekend, and the team looks to carry this momentum into their upcoming games.
