The Falconer/Cassadaga Valley track and field teams had an impressive showing at Fredonia High School on Tuesday, claiming victories in both the boys and girls divisions. The Golden Cougars dominated the competition, with standout performances from several athletes.

In the girls division, Mary Lundmark was a triple-winner for Falconer/Cassadaga Valley, taking first place in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and pole vault. Lundmark showcased her speed with times of 12.9 and 27.4 in the sprints, and also cleared a height of 7 feet, 6 inches in the pole vault. Other notable performances came from Hannah Madonia, who claimed first in the long jump, and Autumn Lynn, who secured victory in the shot put.

On the boys side, Bradyn Fuller, Jaden Binkley, and Charles Sundquist led the Golden Cougars to a resounding 108-28 victory. Fuller excelled in the 100 meters and triple jump, Binkley dominated the 800 meters and 1,600 meters, and Sundquist showed his strength in the shot put and discus events. Despite the strong showing from Falconer/Cassadaga Valley, Fredonia managed to secure victories in the 400 meters, 3,200 meters, and 400-meter hurdles.

Overall, it was a successful day for the Falconer/Cassadaga Valley track and field teams, as they showcased their talent and depth in both the girls and boys divisions. The athletes displayed determination and skill, earning well-deserved victories over their opponents.
