Grant Available for LGBTQ+ Business Owners to Support Pride

National nonprofit Founders First CDC is making strides to support LGBTQIA+ small business owners with the launch of its 2024 National Pride Grant. This program aims to provide financial assistance to eligible businesses, with a total of $25,000 available to be awarded to 25 recipients. To qualify, business owners must identify as LGBTQIA+, have an active U.S.-based business with annual revenue below $5 million, and employ between 2 to 100 individuals. The deadline to apply for this funding round is May 28.

In Long Beach, California, the Level Up LB: Extreme Small Business Makeover and Grant program is offering $10,000 grants to help small businesses become more sustainable. The application period is currently open and will close on May 21, with 25 businesses set to receive awards.

Meanwhile, in Madison, Wisconsin, the Building Improvement Grant program is assisting local businesses in renovating their retail spaces to enhance their longevity. Eligible businesses with brick-and-mortar locations can apply for this ongoing program, which provides funds for interior and exterior renovations.

These initiatives, along with others like the JobsOhio Small Business Grant and the Fulton Microenterprise Revitalization Initiative Grant, are providing much-needed support to small businesses across the country.
