Grant Funds Available for Rural Business Owners to Cover Energy Efficient Upgrades

Small businesses across the country have a plethora of grant opportunities available to them, but navigating through the options can be overwhelming. Here is a roundup of some of the most promising grants and funding programs currently open for applications.

In Maine and other Northeast states, the USDA’s Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) is offering grants and loans to small farms and rural businesses interested in utilizing clean energy sources like wind and solar. The next application deadline for this program is July 1, 2024.

Michigan businesses can benefit from the Going PRO Talent Fund, which provides funds for training and development of employees. With $11 million available, eligible businesses can apply for various training programs until the deadline on May 10.
