Reading Time: < 1 minute

Walt Disney World is set to unveil a magical new attraction this summer that will transport visitors to the enchanting world of the Louisiana Bayou. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, inspired by the beloved film “The Princess and the Frog,” is set to open in Magic Kingdom, replacing the iconic Splash Mountain.

The log flume attraction will offer guests a chance to join Tiana and her friends as they prepare for a festive Mardi Gras celebration. From encountering animatronic characters like Louis the alligator and Mama Odie to enjoying new and familiar tunes from the film, visitors will be immersed in a truly enchanting experience.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Disney World annual passholders and Disney Vacation Club members will have the opportunity to preview the attraction before its official opening on June 28. Passholders can secure a spot during special preview dates, while DVC members can register for exclusive preview events.

Once Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially opens, guests can ride by joining the virtual queue or purchasing a Lightning Lane reservation through Disney Genie+. The attraction promises a thrilling 50-foot drop and a grand finale that will have visitors singing and dancing along with Tiana and her friends.

As the first Black Disney princess to have her own attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is not only a new and exciting addition to the Magic Kingdom but also a significant moment in Disney history. The ride celebrates diversity and inclusion while honoring the inspiring character of Tiana.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new attraction as we dive deeper into the influences, inspiration, and overall experience of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Disney fans won’t want to miss this unforgettable journey through the heart of the Louisiana Bayou.
