Fortnite fans rejoice as the highly anticipated Fortnite Festival guitar controllers are now compatible with the game, allowing players to rock out to their favorite tracks with a more authentic experience. Gone are the days of using a standard gamepad or keyboard to complete rhythm action sequences, as players can now use their guitar controllers to access Pro Lead and Pro Bass tracks.

According to Epic Games, there are currently three officially compatible guitar controllers for Fortnite Festival – the Riffmaster Wireless Guitar Controller, the Rock Band 4 Rivals Wireless Fender Jaguar Guitar, and the Rock Band 4 Wireless Fender Stratocaster Guitar. Players should note that while Xbox versions of these guitars are also compatible with PC, PlayStation guitars will not work on PC.

To calibrate and use a guitar controller with Fortnite Festival, players can head to the Main Stage and speak to the Stage Tech to select the Tune-up option. This will guide players through tests to calibrate the Audio/Video Offset and Input Latency. Players can also manually optimize their settings for a more personalized experience.

Once calibrated, players can cycle through instruments, select their songs, and hit the stage to play Fortnite Festival tracks like a pro. Tilt the controller upwards to trigger Overdrive and earn additional points. With the addition of guitar controllers, Fortnite Festival just got a whole lot more exciting for music-loving gamers.
