Gujarati Feature Film ‘Harna’ Trailer Unveiled at Cannes Film Festival 2024 in Entertainment News

The glitz and glamour of the Cannes Film Festival was further enhanced with the unveiling of the trailer of the Gujarati feature film ‘Harna’. The 77th edition of the prestigious festival witnessed the launch of the trailer at the Bharat Pavilion, where ‘Heeramandi’ actor Taha Shah Badussha graced the event.

The film, starring Pratik Gandhi and Brinda Trivedi, promises to be a visual treat for the audience. Along with ‘Harna’, the trailer and poster of another film, ‘Paro’, were also unveiled at the event, adding to the excitement of the festival.

In addition to the film launches, the first-ever Bharat Parva was hosted by Sanjay Jaju, Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, to celebrate Indian culture, cuisine, and handicrafts. The event, organized by NFDC in association with FICCI, was a huge success, with over 250 delegates in attendance.

The evening showcased the rich cultural heritage of India, along with a delightful array of fusion cuisine. It also saw the unveiling of posters for the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and the save-the-date poster for the inaugural World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES).

The inauguration of the Bharat Pavilion was attended by dignitaries like Ambassador of India to France Jawed Ashraf and Chairperson of National Film and Video Foundation (South Africa) Tholoana Rose Ncheke, among others. The pavilion, organized by NFDC in collaboration with FICCI, aims to showcase India’s cinematic heritage and foster international collaborations in the global film fraternity.
