Director Guy Ritchie’s latest movie, ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’, is set to hit UAE cinemas on April 19, bringing to life a real World War II mission in a fun and entertaining way. Inspired by Operation Postmaster, a daring raid on German and Italian ships off the coast of West Africa, the film follows Major Gus March-Phillipps, played by Henry Cavill, as he leads a team of misfits in fighting the Nazis with unconventional tactics.

Ritchie, known for his unique storytelling style, aims to capture the bravery and heroism of the characters while adding his own flair to the historical event. The movie, based on a novel by Damien Lewis and declassified files from the British War Department, promises to be an exciting and exaggerated retelling of the mission.

The star-studded cast, including Cavill, Cary Elwes, and Eiza Gonzalez, have shared their experiences working with Ritchie, who is not only a talented director but also a great chef. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer likened working with Ritchie to going to summer camp, with the director organizing outings and barbecues for the cast and crew in between filming.

As speculation swirls around the next James Bond actor, both Cavill and co-star Henry Golding have been mentioned as potential successors. Regardless of who takes on the iconic role, the cast and crew of ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’ are excited for audiences to experience the film and enjoy the thrilling ride it offers.
