Halle Berry Battles Evil Spirit in New Horror Thriller ‘Never Let Go’ Trailer

Lionsgate has unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming horror thriller ‘Never Let Go’, scheduled to hit theaters on September 27. Directed by Alexandre Aja, the film stars Academy Award winner Halle Berry, Percy Daggs IV, and Anthony B Jenkins.

‘Never Let Go’ follows the story of a mother, played by Berry, and her fraternal twin sons who have been tormented by an evil woodland spirit for years. The family has been taught to never let go of their protective bond, but when one of the boys begins to doubt the reality of the evil presence, their bond weakens, leading to a terrifying fight for survival.

The screenplay for the film was penned by Kevin Coughlin and Ryan Grassby. The production team includes 21 Laps’ Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Dan Levine, alongside Aja. Halle Berry, Holly Jeter, and 21 Laps’ Emily Morris serve as executive producers.

‘Never Let Go’ will face tough competition at the box office on its release date, with other films debuting on the same day including a horror thriller from Universal, Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw, and Kate Winslet-starring drama ‘Lee’.

Lionsgate has been on a roll with recent releases like ‘Imaginary’, ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’, and ‘Boy Kills World’. The studio is also gearing up to release ‘The Strangers: Chapter 1’ and ‘You Can’t Run Forever’, featuring Academy Award winner JK Simmons.
