Hamilton Man Wanted in Connection with Kitchener Killing Named One of Bolo’s Top 25 Most Wanted Fugitives
A Hamilton man, Habiton Solomon, is now on Bolo’s top 25 most wanted fugitives list in connection with a killing that occurred in downtown Kitchener last summer. Waterloo regional police have offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to Solomon’s arrest.
Solomon, a 21-year-old from Hamilton, is facing a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of Joshua Tarnue. Tarnue was gunned down in front of a business near Queen and Charles streets in downtown Kitchener on Aug. 13, 2023. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Solomon has connections in Ottawa, Windsor, Brantford, North Bay, Huntsville, and Hamilton, and is considered to be armed and dangerous. He is described as five feet eight inches tall, around 130 pounds, with a thin build, black hair, and brown eyes.
In addition to the Kitchener killing, Solomon is also wanted by Hamilton police in connection with a shooting on July 22, 2023. He is facing charges including discharging a firearm with intent, reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Solomon’s whereabouts to come forward and help bring him to justice. Solomon’s inclusion on Bolo’s most wanted list highlights the seriousness of the charges he is facing and the importance of apprehending him swiftly.
