Hardik Pandya Sends ‘Stay Strong’ Message Amid Constant Personal Attacks and Criticism

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer has come out in support of Hardik Pandya amidst the ongoing criticism the all-rounder is facing for his poor performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Jaffer expressed his disappointment with fans trolling Pandya, stating that during the upcoming T20 World Cup, Pandya will play crucial knocks that will silence his critics.

Pandya’s struggles continued as his team, Mumbai Indians (MI), suffered their seventh loss in 10 games this season against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Despite taking two wickets, Pandya was dismissed for a golden duck, adding to his disappointing season with the bat, ball, and as captain.

The key reason for the social media trolling and hate towards Pandya is his controversial move back to MI after a successful stint with the Gujarat Titans (GT). Jaffer took to social media to show his support for Pandya, urging him to stay strong amidst the criticism.

Pandya has a history of making crucial contributions in white-ball cricket for India, and Jaffer believes that he will deliver when it matters most in the T20 World Cup. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India’s squad for the tournament, with Rohit Sharma leading the team and Pandya serving as his deputy.

India will kick off their campaign against Ireland on June 5 before facing arch-rivals Pakistan on June 9 in what promises to be an exciting match. With Pandya’s talent and experience, fans are hopeful that he will rise to the occasion and prove his critics wrong on the world stage.
