Harry Kane’s three eldest children, Louis, Vivienne, and Ivy, were involved in a three-car crash in Germany on Monday, near Munich. The incident occurred just as the 30-year-old footballer landed with Bayern Munich for their Champions League quarter-final match against Arsenal.
According to Munich Police, a Renault carrying four people collided with an oncoming Mercedes, which was transporting Kane’s children, on state road 2071. The impact caused the Renault to skid and hit a Land Rover as well. Fortunately, all occupants of the vehicles sustained only minor injuries.
As a precaution, Louis, Vivienne, and Ivy were taken by ambulance to the hospital. The Munich force estimated the damage from the accident to be in the tens of thousands of euros. The junction area was partially closed for about two hours while the authorities investigated the incident, leading to traffic disruptions.
Harry Kane, who has four children with his wife Kate, was not in the vehicle at the time of the crash. His youngest child, baby Harry, born last August, and his wife were also not involved in the accident.
Kane, who moved from Tottenham to Bayern Munich last summer, has been settling into life in Germany with his family. He has been dedicated to learning the language and adjusting to his new surroundings since the transfer. The footballer’s children are expected to make a full recovery following the collision.
