The South Hamilton golf teams are gearing up for an exciting season with a strong group of returning letterwinners ready to hit the links. The boys team, led by head coach Steve Butler, is coming off a successful season that saw them reach the state tournament. With almost the entire team back, including key players like Landon Sogard and Tyler Schachtner, the Hawks are aiming for another shot at the state title.

Last season, the boys team showcased their talent and determination at the district tournament, where they posted an impressive team score of 318. Sogard, Schachtner, and their teammates proved they have what it takes to compete at a high level, with Sogard even finishing 10th at the state tournament.

On the girls side, seniors Rebekah Carlson and Abby Adamski, along with sophomore Arynn Luppes, are leading the charge. With a mix of experienced players and newcomers vying for spots on the team, head coach Kathi Fisher is confident in the team’s potential.
