HCL Technologies (HCLTech) has taken a significant step forward in its partnership with Google Cloud by expanding its alliance to leverage Google’s generative AI model, Gemini. This collaboration aims to develop industry-specific solutions and empower businesses with cutting-edge technology.

With this new initiative, HCLTech is set to train 25,000 engineers on Gemini for Google Cloud, enabling them to support clients in innovating and optimizing their businesses with GenAI. The Noida-based company will utilize Google Cloud’s latest GenAI technology to assist clients at various stages of their AI projects, including the development of new use cases and capabilities for HCLTech platforms and product offerings.

HCLTech recently launched the HCLTech AI Force platform, a pre-built GenAI platform that optimizes engineering lifecycle processes. This platform will now be enhanced with Gemini’s capabilities, allowing engineers to generate code automatically, fix bugs faster, and deliver high-quality software projects in less time.

Furthermore, HCLTech’s Cloud Native Labs and AI Labs will leverage Gemini to expand their portfolio of industry-specific solutions. This collaboration is expected to bring innovative GenAI solutions to market, providing even more value to global enterprises through HCLTech’s differentiated portfolio.
