Head of Israel’s Military Intelligence Steps Down Following October 7 Hamas Assaults

The Israeli military was rocked by the resignation of its chief of intelligence directorate, Major General Aharon Haliva, following the devastating October 7 attack by Hamas. Haliva took responsibility for the failures that led to the unprecedented assault, which resulted in the deaths of 1,170 people, mostly civilians.
