Three Hezbollah fighters were killed in a targeted Israeli strike on a house in southern Lebanon, the group confirmed in a statement on Saturday. The source close to the group revealed that three fighters lost their lives and two others were seriously injured in the Israeli air strike on a house in the area of Al-Jebbayn.

Hezbollah retaliated by attacking two buildings used by Israeli soldiers in Metula and Shlomi in northern Israel. The group stated that this was in response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on their fighters. Hezbollah had previously fired on several Israeli targets, including soldiers and spy equipment.

The Israeli military reported that they had struck a compound and a terrorist operating from it in the area of Ayta ash Shab. They also targeted a terrorist operating within Hezbollah’s infrastructure in Kfarkela.

Tensions have been escalating in the region since Hamas’s attack on Israel in October, leading to near-daily cross-border exchanges of fire between the Israeli army and Hezbollah. The violence has resulted in the deaths of at least 375 people in Lebanon, mostly fighters but also including 70 civilians. In northern Israel, 10 soldiers and eight civilians have been killed.

Hezbollah has intensified its attacks against Israeli military positions in recent days, further heightening tensions across the Middle East. The situation remains volatile as both sides continue to engage in retaliatory actions.
