Hidden Haven Salon Hosts Small Business Event to Connect with Community

Nina Moore, the owner of Hidden Haven Salon in East Liverpool, is excited to invite community members and fellow small business owners to a special event at her salon located at 16572 St. Claire Ave., Ste. 602. The event will take place on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Attendees can look forward to raffles for gift baskets, various vendors offering food, and the opportunity to purchase limited edition shirts during the event. Moore, who has been a hairdresser for nearly seven years, fulfilled her dream of opening the salon on December 1.

Having spent most of her career in Salem before relocating to East Liverpool, Moore and her husband Brian had always envisioned opening a salon at the same location where Hidden Haven Salon now stands. Despite facing financial challenges in their youth, the couple never gave up on their dream.

After a failed lease deal at another location, fate led them back to the spot they had once joked about opening a salon. The moment they signed the lease for Hidden Haven Salon, Moore was overwhelmed with emotion, seeing it as a full circle moment from her teenage aspirations.

With no formal business training, Moore relied on advice from other salon owners to navigate the world of entrepreneurship. She now hopes to mentor her six employees and create a safe and supportive environment at Hidden Haven Salon, inspired by her own negative experiences in the industry.

The event serves as an opportunity for Moore to connect with the community and showcase the culmination of her hard work and determination in realizing her lifelong dream of owning a salon.
