Ryan Gosling’s latest film, “The Fall Guy,” is not just another action-packed Hollywood blockbuster. It’s a heartfelt tribute to the unsung heroes of the movie industry – the stunt performers who risk their lives to make the stars shine on screen.

Inspired by the 1980s TV series of the same name, “The Fall Guy” follows the story of Colt Seavers, a top Hollywood stuntman who is pulled out of his post-injury isolation to save a film after the disappearance of its leading man. As Colt embarks on a mission to track down the missing star, he finds himself in the middle of a dangerous criminal plot, where he must put on his best performance both on and off the screen to save the day.

Speaking at the film’s premiere in London, Ryan Gosling expressed his admiration for stunt performers, saying, “I’ve benefited from the work of stunt people my whole career. They come in and they take the hits for you and then get none of the credit. That ends here. Hopefully the whole conversation is different after this film.”

Directed by David Leitch, known for his work on “Deadpool 2” and “Atomic Blonde,” “The Fall Guy” features daring action scenes shot with real in-camera stunts. Gosling’s stunt double even set a Guinness World Record for the most cannon rolls in a car during filming.

With its global cinematic rollout beginning on April 24, “The Fall Guy” is not just a thrilling action movie, but a celebration of the hard work and dedication of stunt performers who often go unrecognized in the industry.
