Reading Time: < 1 minute

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have just dropped a bombshell for fans of The Boys and Mortal Kombat 1: Homelander is joining the fighting game’s roster as a playable character. The supervillain, known for his sinister demeanor and laser vision, will be available for players to control starting on June 4.

In a newly released gameplay trailer, fans get a first look at Homelander in action, showcasing his brutal moveset that includes laser vision, milk chugging, and even throwing opponents into the sky. While series actor Antony Starr is not reprising his role for the game, the character’s likeness is faithfully recreated, complete with his signature snippy retorts and degenerate behavior.

Homelander’s arrival in Mortal Kombat 1 is part of the game’s Kombat Pack DLC, which also includes other iconic characters like Invincible’s Omni-Man and DC Comics’ Peacemaker. The addition of Homelander is sure to excite fans of The Boys, as they can now pit the ruthless villain against other fighters in the game.

Accompanying Homelander is Ferra from Mortal Kombat X, who acts as a Kameo fighter in this installment. Together, they bring a new dynamic to the game’s roster, adding more depth and excitement for players.

With Homelander set to make his debut in Mortal Kombat 1 just before the premiere of The Boys Season 4 on June 13, fans have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks. Get ready to unleash the power of Homelander and dominate the competition in Mortal Kombat 1.
